What happens after a game is imported?

What does ChessForgePro do?
ChessForgePro turns your played games into a training plan. It analyzes your decisions, finds recurring problems, creates exercises from positions that mattered and connects those findings to opening practice and progress tracking.
Which chess platforms can I connect?
ChessForgePro currently supports Lichess and Chess.com game imports. You connect an account by its public username. ChessForgePro does not ask for or store your Lichess or Chess.com password.
How often are games and ratings synchronized?
Connected accounts are checked by background jobs. Sync frequency and the number of recent games retained depend on your plan and service availability. You can continue using the site while imported games are analyzed.
How are personal puzzles created?
When analysis finds a useful mistake or missed opportunity, ChessForgePro can turn the position before that decision into an exercise. The puzzle keeps the side you played, the best move and enough analysis evidence to explain why the move matters.
What happens after I solve a puzzle?
Personal puzzles from your own games are removed from the ready queue after completion while the training result remains in your statistics. Shared training positions stay available and are marked as completed so they can be tracked without being deleted.
How does Forgy choose a training session?
Forgy uses available evidence from your games and completed exercises to build a short route across calculation, tactics, time management, openings or endgames. A guided session has a clear finish; training pages remain available for unlimited self-directed practice.
What is Decision Quality?
Decision Quality summarizes the strength of analyzed decisions rather than only wins, losses or rating changes. It considers the quality and severity of evaluated moves. It becomes more reliable as more relevant games are analyzed.
Why does my Coach Report say it is preparing?
Imported games may be available before Stockfish analysis and the precomputed Coach Report are complete. Background workers finish those tasks without requiring the browser to remain open. Existing statistics should remain visible while newer evidence is being prepared.
Does Stockfish decide everything?
No. Stockfish supplies concrete evaluation and candidate moves, but ChessForgePro also uses opening-course knowledge, game context, repeated patterns, training history and position features. A known course move is not treated like an ordinary engine mistake simply because another move has a slightly higher evaluation.
Your account stays under your control.
Connection, retention and deletion are separate choices.
Can I disconnect a chess account?
Yes. You can disconnect a linked platform from Settings. Previously imported games are preserved until they are removed by account controls or plan-based retention.
Can I delete my ChessForgePro account and training data?
Yes. Account deletion is available in Settings and requires your ChessForgePro password and explicit confirmation. The deletion process removes the account and its associated application data, subject to the limited backup and legal retention described in the Privacy Policy.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free is intended for focused training with a smaller recent-game and puzzle history. Pro is planned for players who want a wider history, more personal puzzles, automatic synchronization and higher background-analysis priority. The current limits are listed on the Pricing page.
